Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it — including information about your guests.
We're Saavara, at saavara.com. We build wedding tools for couples across all cultural and religious traditions — Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jewish, Jain, Buddhist, Zoroastrian, interfaith, and everything in between.

You give us
Your guests give you (through Saavara)
Automatically collected
You may choose to collect or display information related to religious traditions — ceremony type, dietary requirements like halal, kosher, or vegetarian, or religious preferences for seating or events. We treat this as sensitive data.
We only use this information to provide the service. We don't use it for advertising, profiling, or anything beyond what you've asked us to do.
We use your information to run the platform — that's the main thing. More specifically:
We don't sell your data. Ever.
When guests submit RSVPs on your wedding website, you (the couple) are the data controller — you decide what to collect and why. Saavara processes that data on your behalf.
Guests can contact you directly to update or delete their information. They can also reach us at our contact form and we'll help route the request appropriately.
We only share data with the service providers we need to run Saavara. All of them are bound by data protection agreements.
We don't share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
We use essential cookies (required for login and security) and optional analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. You can manage your cookie preferences through the consent banner or your browser settings.
See our Cookie Policy for the full breakdown.
You can request early deletion of your data at any time from your account settings or by emailing our contact form.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings or by emailing our contact form.
If you're in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR — including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you're in California, you have rights under CCPA including the right to know what data we hold and the right to delete it.
Saavara is not for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us at our contact form and we'll delete it promptly.
We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypt data at rest, and strictly limit who at Saavara can access your data. No system is completely immune to breaches, but we take reasonable precautions and will notify you promptly if something goes wrong.
Email us at our contact form. We aim to respond to all privacy inquiries within 30 days.
